WALT: organise information into an engaging and informative format.

Today at TeKids we have been learning how to do green screening in MovieMaker. We are going to use this skill to inform an audience about one of the information literacy skills we have learnt this year; e.g. open and closed questions, creative commons and different search engines and strategies.

Positives
It was fun to do green screening because we got some play around time and we hadn't done it before with movies.
Got to meet some new people.
We had choices in our learning.
It was a challenge
Lots of people finding things out for themsekves

Minuses
Sometimes the transition didn't work
Voice was quiet, needed to speak louder
Some of the skills were confusing
Sometimes the moive went behind the picture
The downloading of the video to the computer didn't work
The body disappeared
Importing the video stop/started

Ideas
We could use it to...
...we could writing and reading plays
...telling a story
...use to take action in our inquiry
...teachers could use it to make their lessons more interesting
...sharing your learning in the inquiry
...expresses your ideas, such as questions
...asking questions during 'Rev Up' and then asking some more
